VANGUARD's Change of Command
Combined Annual Review - RCSCC VANGUARD and RCSCC ONTARIO
VANGUARD's Combined Annual Review with RCSCC ONTARIO.
VANGUARD received permission from DND to mount a Guard dressed in Traditional White Square Rig (Summer) Uniforms. The Cadets really enjoy it and it shows how proud they are of the Cadet Unit and Naval Traditions! Reviewing Officer was Commander M. Davies, Commanding Officer of HMCS YORK. Amongst the spectators were HCapt(N) Bata.

Jim Cohen 1st VP Royal Canadian Legion Br 344 and Mary Keates, (Centre) President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 344 present CPO2 Litherland with her Royal Canadian Legion Medal of Excellence.
Mr. Robert Hedley presents the Commander Hedley Memrial Award, named after his father, William Hedley, Commanding Officer of RCSCC VANGUARD (1963-1967) and (1971-1976) to LS Pridhodtko
Major Robert T. Holliday presents the Lt(N) Wong Leadership Memorial Award to CV J. Vermuelen for outstanding support to VANGUARD cadets.

The RCSCC VANGUARD Awards Mess Dinner took place on Tuesday (regular parade night) 3 June 2009 at VANGUARD's Local Headquarters, HMCS YORK.
